Hi, I’m Stephen and I’ll be the author of this blog.

Damien has suggested I do this a few times and I thought when better to start than while he is busily organising the Irish Blog Awards tonight… I’m not entirely sure how much I will be posting, but I have a few ideas for topics to get me started.

Some general topics that I will probably comment on include:

• Invention - patenting, licensing, my own inventions, friends’ inventions
• Starting a business - supports, business planning, raising finance
• Design - design work I do for other companies

Hopefully I will be succinct most of the time and helpful at least some of the time.
